Pentru ceilal\u021bi, poate fi o modalitate potrivit\u0103 de a face cuno\u0219tin\u021b\u0103 cu personalitatea acestui scriitor \u0219i de a p\u0103trunde \u00een universul crea\u021biei sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eC\u0103l\u0103torie prin Portugalia\u201d (Viagem a Portugal, 1981) este rezultatul unei \u00eendelungi explor\u0103ri a \u021b\u0103rii sale, \u00een perioada 1979-1980, o scriere fascinant\u0103 ca form\u0103 \u0219i con\u021binut, din ale c\u0103rei pagini transpare iubirea pentru oamenii \u0219i locurile ce i se dezv\u0103luie treptat c\u0103l\u0103torului \u0219i pentru istoria t\u0103inuit\u0103 \u00een acele spa\u021bii, peste care timpul trece uneori insesizabil, alteori neiert\u0103tor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A\u0219tept\u0103ri \u00eemplinite sau nu, acumul\u0103ri de contraste, revela\u021bii \u0219i fantezii, frumuse\u021bi care taie r\u0103suflarea, \u201eprofunde \u0219ocuri estetice\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn1\" id=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a>, toate acestea coexist\u0103 \u00eentr-o prezentare oscil\u00e2nd \u00eentre obiectivitate \u0219i precizie \u0219i \u201esimple sincerit\u0103\u021bi personale\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn2\" id=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este o carte pentru cei care iubesc cultura portughez\u0103 \u0219i viseaz\u0103 la o c\u0103l\u0103torie \u00een Portugalia, dar \u0219i pentru cei care au c\u0103l\u0103torit deja \u00een aceast\u0103 \u021bar\u0103, oferind o perspectiv\u0103 asupra ei \u0219i a oamenilor ei, pus\u0103 \u00eentr-o form\u0103 memorabil\u0103 de autorul distins cu Premiul Nobel. Astfel, c\u0103l\u0103toria prin Portugalia a lui Saramago poate fi c\u0103l\u0103toria oric\u0103rui cititor care a v\u0103zut sau nu Portugalia. Lectura aduce cu sine transpunerea magic\u0103 \u00een acel spa\u021biu, \u00een acel timp al c\u0103l\u0103toriei \u0219i \u00een alte timpuri evocate, \u00eenc\u00e2t la o prim\u0103 vizit\u0103 ai putea avea senza\u021bia de re\u00eentoarcere, ai putea sim\u021bi emo\u021biile redescoperirii. Trebuie s\u0103 vezi ce nu a fost v\u0103zut, s\u0103 vezi \u00eenc\u0103 o dat\u0103 ceea ce ai v\u0103zut deja, s\u0103 vezi \u00een timpul prim\u0103verii ceea ce ai v\u0103zut vara, s\u0103 vezi \u00een timpul zilei ceea ce ai v\u0103zut noaptea, cu soare acolo unde, atunci c\u00e2nd ai fost, c\u0103dea ploaia, s\u0103 vezi lanul cosit, fructul p\u00e2rguit, piatra care s-a mutat din loc, umbra care aici nu era.\u201d<a href=\"#_ftn3\" id=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continu\u00e2nd explorarea universului realit\u0103\u021bii lui Saramago, inseparabil\u0103 de universul scrierilor sale, cititorul se va bucura s\u0103 descopere \u00een volumul \u201eF\u0103r\u00e2me de memorie\u201d momente din copil\u0103ria \u0219i adolescen\u021ba scriitorului, amintiri din satul natal, din care se deta\u0219eaz\u0103 imaginea \u0219i influen\u021ba bunicilor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eJurnalul din anul Nobelului\u201d cuprinde preocup\u0103rile \u0219i satisfac\u021biile scriitorului din acea perioad\u0103, reac\u021bii ale cititorilor la unele opere ale sale, toate cuprinse \u00een scrisori, redarea unor articole \u0219i interviuri publicate \u00een acel an, dar \u0219i reflec\u021bii asupra unor aspecte social-politice din Portugalia \u0219i consemnarea unor evenimente din Portugalia \u0219i din lume, \u00een contextul \u00een care Saramago locuia deja \u00een Spania de c\u00e2\u021biva ani. Desigur, se men\u021bioneaz\u0103 momentul \u00een care scriitorul a primit vestea c\u0103 este c\u00e2\u0219tig\u0103torul premiului Nobel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eDe la statuie la piatr\u0103.
